Ultimate Languages and Alchemy Compliance together in Webinar for the Chemical Industry

Global Labelling: Reality or Myth? How to get the right information on labels of hazardous products

Ultimate Languages and Alchemy Compliance will be delivering a specialised webinar for the Chemical Industries Association (cia.org.uk) members on July 15th, 2020.

Leeds, West Yorkshire, July 6th, 2020 – Ultimate Languages Ltd. is proud to announce the collaboration with Alchemy Compliance Ltd. to deliver a webinar exclusive for the Chemical Industries Association Members (cia.org.uk) on July 15th, 2020.

The webinar applies to all those companies that deal with chemical products like paints, cleaning products or paints and also the intermediate products involved in the manufacturing process of cosmetics, medicines and food additives.

The webinar will sketch the ambition of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling in providing a global solution to the management of hazardous chemicals, the technical process of hazard classification and labelling, and discuss the obstacles to providing definitive label text to cover multiple countries.

With industry themes and challenges like REACH, BREXIT and COVID-19, companies must have the best tools to compete and export their products.

The webinar will also cover top language requirements and issues and machine vs human translation.

The content will be delivered by PhD in Organic Chemistry, Mel Cook, Director of Alchemy Compliance with over 20 years’ experience as a regulatory advisor.

Discussing the language aspects will be Isabella Ballanti, MA in Politics and International Relations and MD of Ultimate Languages. Ms. Ballanti also boasts a 20+ year experience in translation as a linguist and as a Language Service Provider (LSP).

The event will take place on July 15th at 11 am GMT. The event will have no cost for CIA Members, who can register here.

“We are looking forward to delivering this webinar and sharing this information with the industry,” said Mel Cook, Director of Alchemy Compliance Ltd. “Working with labels and localising them in multiple languages applies not only those who can use software to do it but smaller companies that need to write them manually.”

One of our top specialisms at Ultimate Languages is the Chemical Industry,” Isabella Ballanti commented. “We are ISO certified as an LSP and work only with linguists that are compliant and have the market and legal knowledge to provide a quality solution.”
